WCC seeks to reduce medium- and heavy-duty diesel emissions through the deployment of verified and certified technologies, engines and practices, and advanced technologies. We share information, training opportunities, planning, policy development, and funding opportunities related to reducing diesel emissions.  WCC is focused on creating, supporting, and implementing diesel emissions reductions projects and policies. To accomplish this goal, WCC:
* Highlights successful state, tribal, local, and regional diesel emissions reduction activities; and
* Creates a forum for information sharing among diesel emissions reduction stakeholders, and works to leverage significant new resources to expand diesel emissions mitigation efforts; and
* Implements projects in the most impacted communities, leverages funds from a variety of sources, achieves measurable emission reductions, and creates momentum for future diesel emissions mitigation efforts; and
* Works with a government steering committee to inform goals and priorities for WCC’s work.
