Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) are a network of nonprofit organizations funded to assist families of children with disabilities in navigating the special education system and advocating for their children's educational rights.
Mission
The mission of PTIs is to provide parents with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to ensure their children with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) as outlined by law. They aim to educate, empower, and support families to become active participants in their children's education, advocate for their rights, and enhance educational outcomes.
Parent organization
