The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) is administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).

For FY 2024, nearly $200 million was available for distribution. Funding is ongoing but subject to yearly budget allocations and performance reviews.
