[[ShoreBank]], headquartered in the South Shore neighborhood of [[Chicago]], was founded in 1973. Its holding company ShoreBank Corporation, still exists and promotes its community development mission through affiliates in Oregon and Washington state, and in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
