This template adds an automatically generated short description. If the automatic short description is not optimal, replace it by adding {{Short description}} at the top of the article.

This template sets the string Topics referred to by the same term (Template:Oldid2) as the short description for disambiguation pages via the individual disambiguation message box templates. The use of includeonly here and in the transclusions prevents the templates from receiving that short description.
