Section 1
Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) is led by the Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation (Political appointee positions in the office)

Marketing and Regulatory Programs (MRP) is overseen by the Under Secretary of Agriculture for Marketing and Regulatory Programs (List of office political appointee positions). It oversees:
- Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), which safeguards agriculture from pests and diseases.
- Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), responsible for facilitating the marketing of agricultural products.
- Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA), which ensures fair trading practices in livestock and grain markets.

Section 20
Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services (FNCS) is overseen by the Under Secretary for Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services (List of office's political appointee positions).
- Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), which manages the day-to-day operations of the nutrition assistance programs.
- Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion (CNPP), responsible for dietary guidance and promoting nutrition education.
- Regional Offices that support and monitor program implementation at state and local levels.

Food Safety (FS) is overseen by the Under Secretary of Agriculture for Food Safety (List of political appointee positions).
- Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) - Conducts inspections and enforces regulations.
- Office of Policy and Program Development (OPPD) - Responsible for policy creation and program oversight.
- Office of Public Health Science (OPHS) - Focusing on research and risk assessment.
