Usage
Place {{Update section|date=October 2025}} on its own line at the top of the section, just below the heading.
Valid parameters are:
|date=|cat=|reason=|inaccurate=
Their meanings are exactly the same as for {{update|section}} when that is used with the same parameters.
TemplateData
Use this tag to alert readers that a section of the article is out of date and may need updating.

| Month and year | date | Provides the month and year of the update request; e.g., 'January 2018', but not 'jan18'.
