Warning Decision Training Division
The Warning Decision Training Division (WDTD) develops and delivers training on the warning process for National Weather Service (NWS) forecasters and their partners, focusing on improving operational warning decisions.

Creation
Formally known as the Warning Decision Training Branch until April 1, 2015, WDTD was established to provide consistent and effective training for NWS warning operations. It was originally part of the Operations Training Facility for NEXRAD radar training in 1989.
