Location of VisualEditor ("Edit" tab) and Enhanced Editor ("Edit source" tab)

VisualEditor (VE) is a simplified tool to edit USApedia that allows you see the effect of any change immediately on the page (commonly referred to as What You See Is What You Get ). It does not require editors to use the Editing toolbar to learn wikitext to edit existing content.

Editing articles purely in wikitext is and will remain an option using the enhanced editor and editing toolbar. This may be the preference for experienced editors because they might find it faster and more precise. Even editors who enable VisualEditor will have the wikitext option available from the toolbar for each page and section.
